I have been desperate to paint some more farmyard themed paintings for a while because I adore the nostalgia of old and organic rustic small holdings. The challenge for me was to capture the interaction between these very sociable friends that happily roam the farm and fields and the texture of their fine hair and how it catches the light.
Pigs are incredibly intelligent and their medicine brings good luck, wealth and abundance. With a warrior spirit, pigs can navigate and survive challenging times of change with strength and great bravery.
