My nephew is very in tune with nature and he told me that his nature spirit totem is the buzzard. I didn't know much about buzzards - only hawks who usually warn when a very important message that needs attention is about to be delivered. So when I investigated the special meanings of sighting this wonderful bird of prey, I had to paint it!

The background is Ashdown Forest, where there are some amazing heathers and so much space to walk in. I hope you enjoy my painting!
