On one Monday morning, I was feeling a bit gloomy. I'd just dropped my daughter off to school and could easily have gone back to bed... Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a gorgeous red robin hop onto my balcony right by where I was sitting. I recalled the medicine that robin teaches and seeing it as a great omen, set about painting this very spiritual and joyful bird. And here it is! My very last painting of 2022 to be released.
Seeing one robin is such a symbol of joyful blessings, but two brings double blessings - especially to partnerships. ❤️

The original oil painting is on a 20x20cm stretched canvas with painted edges. The texture is a little thick in places and took ages to dry so it is beautifully tactile to touch.
