The last time I saw dolphins was on a saline safari in Goa with my Mum. It was amazing to see dolphins in the wild playfully leaping out of the water. It made me feel so joyous, so it was no surprise when I learned the nature spirit totem meaning of dolphin.

Observing the Bottlenose Dolphin's torso as it moves with such muscle strength, fluidity and velocity is quite fascinating to capture on canvas - particularly with the lighting contrasts. The colours that I have used are very Atlantean with purples, blues and turquoise. I hope you enjoy my painting!
