Heron was quite a challenge to paint because I had to do quite a bit of research into their habitat and work with footage and lots of different images to create this piece. I adore herons for their graceful balance in the water and stealthy agility when fishing and I felt this was an important factor to capture.
The spirit animal medicine for Heron is quite profound and certainly apt for me at this time...
