Happy New Year 2023!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and new year celebrations. We were poorly over Christmas but are much better now.

My first painting of the year to have dried in time is Polperro. This was started back in April 2022 when I was house-hunting with my daughter and was finally finished in late November. Polperro has a very special place in my heart. In some ways it is like stepping into a Greek village with lots of white washed houses. But when you look a bit deeper, you can see a unique English creative touch which I love so much. It is such a spiritual place and a sketchbook treasure trove to be explored. I can't wait to get back there again to sketch and take a boat trip!

The oil painting on stretched canvas is A2 (w 474 x h 370 mm) and has painted wraparound edges. It is available as a mixed size limited edition giclée print and a blank greeting card. Merchandise will follow soon.
